We're so excited to celebrate with you in Charlevoix! Since many of our guests will be traveling to join us, we've put together some information to help make planning your trip a little easier.
Charlevoix is a beautiful place to visit in the summer, and while our wedding is the reason we're bringing everyone together, we hope you'll consider making a weekend, or even a little longer, of it. From the lakefront and beaches to charming downtown streets, local restaurants, and the surrounding towns, there's plenty to explore while you're here.
We'll continue updating this page as we get closer to the wedding, particularly as we finalize hotel blocks and additional transportation details.
Where to Stay
A Note About Hotel Blocks
We are currently working on securing room blocks at several area hotels for our guests. Because summer is an especially popular time to visit Charlevoix and Northern Michigan, hotels generally require us to wait until we're within 10 months of the wedding before we can begin arranging blocks.
That means you don't need to wait for us to secure a room block before making your reservation. If you find a hotel or rental that works well for you, you're more than welcome to book it now. In fact, because summer availability in Northern Michigan can fill quickly, we recommend making your accommodations sooner rather than later.
We'll add our room block information to this page as soon as it's available.
Staying in Charlevoix
Staying in Charlevoix will put you close to downtown, the waterfront, restaurants, shops, and the wedding venue. There are a variety of hotels, inns, and vacation rentals throughout the area, so there's something for different travel styles and group sizes.
The Earl
The Earl is a boutique hotel in downtown Charlevoix. The hotel currently offers complimentary continental breakfast and coffee, complimentary parking, an indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, and complimentary bicycles.
The Earl also currently offers a Saturday-evening shuttle service for individual travel between downtown Charlevoix and areas as far as Harbor Springs. Shuttle space is limited, so check directly with the hotel for current availability and pricing.
Weathervane Terrace Inn & Suites
The Weathervane Terrace Inn & Suites is located in downtown Charlevoix. The Weathervane Terrace Inn & Suites offers suites and rooms with kitchenettes. The property currently offers complimentary continental breakfast, an indoor hot tub, and a seasonal outdoor heated pool.
It's also close to downtown shops, restaurants, the waterfront, and the beach.

Charlevoix House & The Northside
For something a little smaller and more intimate, Charlevoix House and The Northside are two Victorian-style inns located in downtown Charlevoix. Both properties currently offer complimentary breakfast and are within walking distance of downtown.
Other Places to Stay
Hotels aren't your only option! Charlevoix has a wide variety of vacation rentals, cottages, inns, and other accommodations throughout the area.
If you're traveling with a larger group or would prefer a house or condo, a vacation rental may be a good option. You can also look at nearby communities such as Petoskey, Boyne City, or Harbor Springs if you'd like to explore a little farther from Charlevoix.
Just keep in mind that staying outside of Charlevoix will likely mean driving to and from the wedding.
Getting to Charlevoix
By Air
If you're flying to Northern Michigan, there are two regional airports within relatively close driving distance of Charlevoix:
Pellston Regional Airport (PLN)
Approximately 37 miles north of Charlevoix.
Cherry Capital Airport (TVC)
Located in Traverse City, approximately 49 miles south of Charlevoix.
Both airports offer rental car services. Because transportation options can be limited in Northern Michigan, we recommend arranging a rental car in advance if you're flying.
Getting Around
Having a car will likely be the easiest way to get around during your stay, particularly if you're planning to explore beyond downtown Charlevoix.
Charlevoix does have local transportation and taxi services.
We'll also update this page with any shuttle information associated with our hotel blocks once those arrangements are finalized.

July is a beautiful time to be in Charlevoix, and there's plenty to see beyond the wedding itself. Spend an afternoon by the lake, wander through downtown, explore the surrounding towns, or simply take a slower pace for a few days.

A Few Final Notes
As we get closer to July 10, 2027, we'll continue adding information to this page as plans are finalized. Hotel blocks, transportation, and other details will be added as they become available.
For now, our biggest piece of advice is simple: don't wait too long to book your accommodations. Northern Michigan is a popular summer destination, and we'd rather see you have your first choice of where to stay than have to settle for whatever happens to be available later.
